On your first appointment you will complete a consultation form regarding your health and lifestyle which we will use to decide on a treatment plan to best suit you as an individual.

 

Following the consultation you will relax back on a comfortable reclining chair and the treatment will commence. Reflexology is predominantly performed on the feet, although it can also be done on the hands.  Reflexology is performed using the thumbs and fingers in a sequence of moves and holds.  It is a gentle and relaxing experience, sometimes certain areas of the foot may feel sensitive, this is an indication that there is an imbalance in the associated area of the body.  These areas will be gently worked to help restore the body back to it’s natural balance.

 

Following the treatment you will be provided with aftercare advice to help you maximise the effects of treatment.

This includes additional time to complete the consultation form in order for the treatment to be tailored to your specific needs.

How often do I need to book an appointment?

 

This is entirely dependent on why you are seeking treatment and your own personal circumstances and will be discussed during your consultation. If you are seeking treatment for a specific problem then a course of 4 to 6 treatments on a weekly or fortnightly basis, followed by maintenance sessions every month to 6 weeks may be recommended.  

 

Some people prefer to come on a more ad hoc basis.  

 

Unfortunately you will not be able to receive a treatment if you have a fever, infectious illness, DVT or are in the first trimester of pregnancy.  If you are unsure if a treatment would be of benefit please do get in contact to discuss any specific conditions you may have.

Cancellation Policy

Cancellations more than 24 hours before your appointment will not incur a charge.  

Cancellations with less than 24 hours notice will be charged at the full price of the treatment.
